Hoodoo you think you are Mr Freeman…
Truly unbelievable that the esteemed actor who gave us one of the best serial killer flicks of all-time. Morgan Freeman and Se7en, agreed to take part in this utter dog of a movie. Shame on you Morgan!

Like many, i got duped by Freeman’s involvement, but was admittedly wary beforehand upon seeing B movie/VOD perennial Scott Hauser starring. However, this ludicrous, disjointed serial killer meets black magic effort was even worse than one could ever imagine. It’s a total incoherent mess from beginning to laughable end.

Aside from the overall poor execution, quite why the pointless Rome angle was tacked on is more of a mystery than the woeful script itself. The acting is wooden, the suspense is non-existent and the endgame is shockingly bad, and not in a good way. The only positive things i can say are that the lighting/cinematography are fairly decent and it’s thankfully short at 90 minutes.

Yep, if you even get through it, hide this travesty away in the’ hour and a half i will never get back’ file and blow the cobwebs off Silence of the Lambs, Se7en and Psycho again instead until someone (anyone) comes up with a decent murder mystery again… it’s been far too long hasn’t it… and the wait goes on…

Such a Disappointment
I watched this movie because Freeman was in it & stuck through to the end hoping that it would be good – but it was a complete waste of time. Script, dialogue, acting and pretty much everything was just so bad! Nothing made sense & there was no flow to the movie with the jump from one scene to the other being totally confusing. Sorry I’ve never heard or seen the main actor & after watching the movie all the way through I know why – he was just terrible! The ending was so ridiculous that we all burst out laughing. I suggest that you give this movie a miss and spend your time watching something else.
