Cheap and Boring
Don’t ask questions, just consume product an get excited for next product….

Things just happen in this movie and are barely explained, just hand waved away. Its like the writers expect you to know the original story but then if you know the original story you are guaranteed to be annoyed by the changes they have made for the so called “modern audience”….

The cast is alright from my point of view, not perfect just good enough, the problem is the writing and the overall production value, it lacks entertainment value, I didn’t feel the magic….

The common excuse is that its for children but I wouldn’t recommend showing this to children….

I miss the days when Disney would focus on a few films at a time and they were all incredible, instead of producing them left and right and coming out with silly, sub par films, with bad acting.

This didn’t keep any of my family entertained- from an 80 year old to a 9 year old and everything in between. It was also more violent then it needed to be. Instead of playful, joyful and magical, it felt heavy, dark, and confusing.

The only redeeming quality was the concept of the backstory of Peter and Hook.

We won’t watch again, in fact, I’ll second guess watching another new movie on Disney+ and stick to what they release in theatres.
